Stories

GirlAbout knows it can be difficult to get the help you need when you’re a young parent. Antenatal classes can be intimidating or just a bit uncomfortable, and everyone wants to give you advice once you’ve had the baby – whether they know what they’re talking about or not.

To help young parents out, GirlAbout run free antenatal classes and free postnatal classes. These classes are run by an experienced and friendly childbirth educator and are exclusively for parents under 21.

We run them in The Barn, our nice community room. To find out when the next course starts and to ensure your place, email admin@girlabout.co.uk or
phone us on 01923 232179.

We also know that times can be tight when you’re a new parent, especially if you’re a young parent. GirlAbout get donations of baby clothes, new disposable nappies and equipment like buggies, car seats and baby baths. We then give these to young parents who can’t quite afford them or just need a bit of help. If you have anything you’d like to donate, or if you think you need GirlAbout’s help, email: admin@girlabout.co.uk or
phone us on 01923 232179.
